This area of the south most part of Costa Rica on the Pacific coast has been protected during the past 50 years by a private constitution, allowing hundreds of bird, mammal and insect species to proliferate extensively in the region.
Downloads share 33% to Indigenous communities in Nicaragua who tend to the forests through age-old regenerative practices.
